Dead [creatures] are prohibited to you, *_{Leviticus 22:8}* and [also] blood, *_{Genesis 9:4}*, *_{Leviticus 7:26}*, *_{Leviticus 17:12}*, *_{BookOfJubilees 6:10}, *_{BookOfJubilees 6:17} - 19, *_{Deuteronomy 12:23}* the flesh of swine, *_{Leviticus 11:7}* - 8, *_{Deuteronomy 14:8}* and that which has been dedicated to [something] other than God, *_{Exodus 34:15}*, *_{1Corinthians 10:28} and [those animals] killed by strangling *_{Acts 15:20}*, *_{Acts 15:28}* - 29, *_{Acts 21:25}* or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those which a wild animal has eaten from, *_{Exodus 22:31}*, *_{Leviticus 22:8}* except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars; and [it is prohibited] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day, those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so do not fear them, but fear Me. This day, I have perfected your religion for you and completed My favor upon you and have approved submission [to God] for you as religion. But whoever is forced by hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, God is Forgiving and Merciful.

And remember the favor of God upon you and His covenant which He bound you with when you said, "We hear and we obey;" ~*_{Exodus 24:7}*, ~*_{Joshua 24:24}* - 25 and fear God. Indeed, God is Knowing of that within the hearts.

And God had already taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We raised twelve leaders from among them. *_{Genesis 49:28}*, *_{1Chronicles 2:1} - 2 And God said, "I am with you. If you establish prayer and give purifying [alms] and believe in My messengers and honor them and loan God a good loan, I will surely remove your misdeeds from you and admit you to Gardens in which rivers flow beneath them. But whoever among you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the even path."

O People of the Scripture, Our messenger has come to you making clear much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture, *2* _{Ezra 12:36} - 37, *_{2Ezra 14:6}, *_{2Ezra 14:26} and he pardons much. A light and a clear Book have come to you from God.

By which God guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, *_{Luke 1:79}* by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.

They have certainly disbelieved who say that God is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent God at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them [belongs] to God. *_{Deuteronomy 10:14}* He creates what He wills, and God is Powerful over all things.

But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of God *_{Deuteronomy 14:1}*, *_{Psalms 82:6}*, *_{Hosea 1:10}*, *_{2Ezra 6:58}, *_{Romans 8:14}* - 16, *_{Galatians 3:26}* and His beloved."  Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?"  Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created.  He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills.  And the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them [belongs] to God, *_{Deuteronomy 10:14}* and the [final] destination is to Him.

O People of the Scripture, Our messenger has come to you to make [the religion] clear to you after a period [of suspension] of messengers, *_{John 16:7}* unless you should say, "No bringer of good news or warner came to us."  But a bringer of good news and a warner has come to you.  And God is Powerful over all things.

They said, "O Moses, indeed there is a people of tyrannical strength within it, *_{Numbers 13:30}* - 31, *_{Deuteronomy 1:28}* and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter."

Two men from those who feared [to disobey], upon whom God had bestowed favor said, "Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be predominant. And trust in God, if you should be believers." *_{Numbers 14:6}* - 9

[God] said, "Then indeed, it is forbidden to them [to enter the Holy Land] for forty years, [rather,] they will wander throughout the land. *_{Numbers 14:33}*, *_{Numbers 32:13}* So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."

And recite the story of Adam's two sons to them in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice [to God], and it was accepted from one of them but it was not accepted from the other. *_{Genesis 4:3}* - 5, *_{BookOfJubilees 4:2} [Cain] said, "I will surely kill you." [Abel] said, "Indeed, God only accepts [it] from those who fear [Him].

And his soul permitted the murder of his brother, so he killed him *_{Genesis 4:8}*, *_{BookOfEnoch 85:4} and became among the ones in loss.

Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against God and His messenger and strive [to cause] corruption upon earth is none but that they should be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet should be cut off from opposite sides *2* _{Samuel 4:12} or that they should be exiled from the land. That is a disgrace for them in this world; and there is a great punishment for them in the Hereafter

Indeed, those who disbelieve - if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and there [will be] a painful punishment for them *_{BookOfEnoch 52:7}*, *_{BookOfEnoch 63:10}, *_{BookOfJubilees 5:23}, *_{Job 36:18}* - 19, *_{Psalms 49:6}* - 7, *_{Proverbs 11:4}*, *_{Zephaniah 1:18}*, *_{Ezekiel 7:19}*

And We prescribed for them therein - a life for a life, *_{Exodus 21:12}*, *_{Leviticus 24:21}* an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and legal retribution for wounds. *_{Exodus 21:23}* - 25, *_{Deuteronomy 19:21}*, *_{Matthew 5:38}* But whoever gives [up his right as] charity, it is an expiation for him. And whoever does not judge by what God has sent down - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

And We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, following in their footsteps, confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, *_{Mark 1:1}*, *_{Mark 1:1}4*, *_{Matthew 4:23}*, *_{Matthew 9:35}*, *_{Luke 4:18}*, *_{Luke 20:1}* in which was guidance and light and confirming that which was in his hands of the Torah as guidance and instruction for those who fear [God].

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are allies of one another. And whoever turns to them from among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, God does not guide the wrongdoing people. *_{Luke 22:3}* - 4

So you see those who have disease in their hearts hastening into [association with] them, saying, "We are afraid a misfortune may strike us." But perhaps God will bring a conquest or a command from Him, and they will become regretful *_{Matthew 27:3}* - 4 over what they have been concealing within themselves.

Say, "Should I inform you of [what is] worse than that as penalty from God? [The worst penalty is for] those whom God has cursed and with whom He became angry and made them apes ~*_{BookOfJasher 9:35}* and [also] pigs and slaves of false gods. Those are worse in position and further astray from the even path."

And the Jews say, "The hand of God is chained." *_{Isaiah 59:1}* Their hands are chained, and they are cursed for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been sent down to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast animosity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], God extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and God does not love the corrupters.

They have certainly disbelieved who say, "God is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, serve God, *_{Matthew 4:10}*, *_{Luke 4:8}* my Lord and your Lord." *_{Mark 12:29}*, *_{John 20:17}* Indeed, he who associates others with God - God has certainly forbidden the Garden for him, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are no helpers for the wrongdoers.

They have certainly disbelieved who say, "God is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. *_{Deuteronomy 6:4}*, *_{Mark 12:29}*, *_{Mark 12:32}*, *_{James 2:19}*, *_{ShepherdOfHermas 26:1} And if they do not desist from what they are saying, a painful punishment will surely touch the disbelievers among them.

Those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of David and Jesus, the son of Mary. *_{Matthew 23:13}* - 16, *_{Matthew 23:23}* - 33, *_{Luke 11:42}* - 44, *_{Luke 11:46}* - 47, *_{Luke 11:52}* That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed.

[The Day] when God will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Holy Spirit *_{Isaiah 42:1}*, *_{Matthew 12:18}*, *_{Luke 4:1}*, *_{Acts 10:38}* and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you the Book and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you created [a figure] from clay like the form of a bird with My permission, *Infancy Gospel of _{Thomas 2:3} then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind *_{Matthew 9:27}* - 30, *_{Matthew 20:30}* - 34, *_{Mark 8:22}* - 25, *_{Mark 10:51}* - 52, *_{Luke 18:41}* - 43, *_{John 9:6}* - 7 and the leper with My permission; *_{Matthew 8:3}*, *_{Mark 1:40}* - 42, *_{Luke 5:12}* - 13, *_{Luke 17:12}* - 14 and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; *Infancy Gospel of _{Thomas 9:4} - 5, *Infancy Gospel of _{Thomas 17:1} - 3, *Infancy Gospel of _{Thomas 18:1} - 2, *_{Matthew 9:24}* - 25, *_{Matthew 11:4}* - 5, *_{Mark 5:39}* - 42, *_{Luke 7:12}* - 15, *_{Luke 8:52}* - 55, *_{John 11:41}* - 44, *_{John 12:1}*, *_{John 12:9}*, *_{John 12:1}7* and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, 'This is nothing but clear magic.'

God said, 'Indeed, I will send it down to you, *_{Psalms 23:5}* but whoever disbelieves afterwards from among you - then indeed, I will punish him with a punishment by which I have not punished anyone among the worlds.'"

I did not say [anything] to them except what You commanded me - to serve God, *_{Matthew 4:10}*, *_{Luke 4:8}* my Lord and your Lord." *_{Mark 12:29}*, *_{John 20:17}* And I was a witness over them as long as I was among them; but when You took my soul, You were the Observer over them, and You are Witness over all things.

The kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them [belongs] to God. *_{Psalms 89:11}*, *_{Job 41:11}* And He is Powerful over all things.
