O mankind, fear your Lord. Indeed, the earthquake of the [Last] Hour *_{Revelation 6:12}* is a terrible thing.

On the Day you see it, every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will deliver her burden, *2* _{Ezra 6:21}, *_{Matthew 24:19}*, *_{Mark 13:17}* and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of God is severe.

O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, *_{Genesis 2:7}* then from a drop [of seed], then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - so that We may make [your origin] clear to you. And We settle whom We will in the wombs for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then so that you may reach your maturity. And among you is he who is taken in death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit age so that he knows nothing after [once having] knowledge. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down water upon it, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful pair.

And [so that they may know] that the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - and that God will resurrect those in the graves. *2* _{Ezra 2:16}, *_{John 5:28}* - 29

Do you not see that whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth prostrates to God, and [also] the sun, the moon, the stars, *_{Nehemiah 9:6}* the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But the punishment has come true upon many. And he whom God humiliates - there is no bestower of honor for him. Indeed, God does what He wills.

And when We designated the site of the House for Abraham, ~*_{BookOfJubilees 22:32}* [We said], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who circulate and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate.

And We have made a rite [of sacrifice] for all religion so that they may remember [or mention] the name of God over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. *_{Exodus 20:24}*, *_{Deuteronomy 12:5}* - 6, *_{Deuteronomy 12:11}*, *_{Deuteronomy 16:2}*, *_{Deuteronomy 16:6}* For your God is one God, so submit to Him. And give good news to the humble [before their Lord]

And they urge you to hasten the punishment. *_{Jeremiah 17:15}* - 16 But God will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count. *_{BookOfJubilees 4:40}, *_{Psalms 90:4}*, *_{Sirach 18:10}*, *_{2Peter 3:8}

And He is the One who gave you life; then He causes you to die *_{Deuteronomy 32:39}*, *Wisdom of _{Solomon 16:13}, *_{4Maccabees 18:19} and then He will [again] give you life. *_{1Samuel 2:6} Indeed, mankind is ungrateful.

O people, an example is set forth, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides God will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. *Gospel of _{Barnabas 152:5}* And if the fly should steal a [tiny] thing away from them, they could not recover it from him. The pursuer and pursued are weak.

And strive for God with the true striving [due] to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed any difficulty upon you in the religion. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. [God] named you "in submission to God" before [in former Scriptures] *2* _{Chronicles 30:8}, *_{Psalms 66:3}*, *_{Psalms 81:15}*, *_{Romans 10:3}*, *_{1Corinthians 15:27} - 28, *_{James 4:7}* and in this [revelation] so that the messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give purifying [alms] and hold firmly to God. He is your Protector; and the Protector is excellent, and the helper is excellent.
